Mylotte Wins Malmo Title

Ireland's Laura Mylotte emerged as champion in the first Malmo Squash Open at Bellevuestadion in the Swedish city of Malmo.

Top women's seed Laura Mylotte, in her fourth year on the WISPA World Tour, celebrated her maiden title success when she beat England's No2 seed Kirsty McPhee 10-8, 10-9, 9-6.

Mylotte underwent knee surgery following her appearance in the World Open in Belfast last November - since when the 31-year-old from Galway has broken into the world's top 60, and now looks certain to rise further.
