Nouran El Torky added her name to the list of winners of Women's Squash Association World Tour titles when she beat home hope Teh Min Jie in the final of the Malaysian Tour Squash Circuit No8, the WSA Tour 5 event at Stadium Skuasy in Alor Gajah in the Malaysian state of Malacca.

The 21-year-old third seed from Egypt made her breakthrough in the semi-finals with a straight games dismissal of top seed Lotte Eriksen. The win took the world No90 from Alexandria through to her third Tour final.

Min Jie, from Selangor, also pulled off a notable semi-final upset, beating fellow Malaysian Rachel Arnold, the second seed, to make the first Tour final of her career.
Honours were shared after the first two games of the final - but El Torky then stepped up the pace before closing out the match 11-6, 9-11, 11-2, 11-6.

"I'm happy to have won my first WSA title in Malaysia," said the jubilant El Torky afterwards. "I hope that I can play well again in the next Malaysian Tour in Sarawak."
