2020 is coming. The LAAX OPEN, the world-famous snowboarding event, will kick off a new decade. From 13 to 18 January 2020, snowboarding will take centre stage in LAAX, GraubŁnden, winner of the ‘World's Best Freestyle Resort’ award on three occasions. Visitors will be able to see international stars such as 2019 LAAX OPEN winners Chloe Kim and Scotty James in the flesh. The popular event is as much about powder and parties as it is about the top-class performances on the pipe and in the park. The sporting highlights of the FIS Snowboard World Cup and world snowboarding event will be the slopestyle finals on Friday, 17 January 2020, and the halfpipe finals on Saturday, 18 January.

While the FIS Snowboard World Cup is about to get the 2019-2020 winter season under way in the southern hemisphere, summer is in full swing in the Alps at the freestyle resort LAAX.
