Australia Diamonds - Clare McMeniman & Gretel Tippett

Australian defender Clare McMeniman and debutant Gretel Tippett spoke on Friday morning following the Diamonds 58-48 victory over New Zealand Silver Ferns at Vector Arena, Auckland, on Thursday.

Tippett became Australia's 165th international representative when she was introduced at wing attack late in the third quarter while McMeniman was instrumental in the Diamonds' come from behind victory in defence.

The Diamonds return to Melbourne on Friday leading the four-Test Constellation Cup series 2-0 ahead of the remaining Tests in Melbourne on Sunday and Perth on Friday.

McMeniman spoke about the Diamonds' two victories in New Zealand, playing alongside four Queensland Firebirds teammates, stepping up in defence for captain Laura Geitz, who's been rested for the remaining two Tests, and wanting to clinch the series in Melbourne on Sunday.
