Australians sweep the medals in the women's 100m butterfly

Clean Sweep

Australia swept the medals in the women's 100m butterfly, with Emma McKeon winning the gold in a new Commonwealth Games record time of 56.78 seconds.

With an individual bronze and relay gold under her belt, McKeon led the race all the way and lowered the Games record set by teammate Madeline Groves in the semifinal on Thursday.

Groves won the silver in 57.19 and Brianna Throssell the bronze in 57.30.
