The team will play two 50-over and two T20 practice matches as part of the tour which is designed to expose players to the rigours of sub-continental conditions.
Former Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars all-rounder Shelley Nitschke will be Head Coach for the tour, while Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars Head Coach Cathryn Fitzpatrick and Commonwealth Bank VicSpirit Batting Coach Dulip Samaraweera will work as Assistant Coaches.

Commenting on the squad, Chair of Selectors Julie Savage said: “This tour will be an excellent opportunity for our athletes to experience conditions in Sri Lanka.
"It is important to expose our players to differing playing conditions around the world to ensure that we are prepared for events such as the 2016 ICC Women’s World Twenty20, as well as tours to these regions in the future.
"This squad has a strong development focus with a view that some players will press for Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars selection in the future.
“The tour has been designed to combine a high performance training environment with valuable match-practice in sub-continent conditions.”
