Hosts West Indies Overcome England

England will face India in the semi-final of the ICC Women's World T20 after finishing second in Group A following a last-over defeat against hosts West Indies in Saint Lucia.

A record crowd for women's internationals in West Indies - who produced an electric atmosphere - saw Kycia Knight hit a four through point to surpass England's 115-8 with just three balls remaining.

That it went down to the final over was credit to England's fighting qualities, and in particular the skill of Sophia Dunkley, Anya Shrubsole and Kirstie Gordon.

Dunkley (35) - playing her maiden IT20 innings - and Shrubsole (29) came together for a record seventh-wicket partnership of 58 after England had stumbled to 50-6.

They gave their team something to bowl at and when Shrubsole clean-bowled Hayley Matthews and Stafanie Taylor in her first over victory looked like it could be England's.

But despite another impressive spell from Gordon (4-0-14-1), Deandra Dottin and Shemaine Campbelle did the bulk of the work to get West Indies over the line and to the top of the group.

England will face Harmanpreet Kaur's India side at 8pm in Antigua on November 22 (12am GMT, November 23).
