Australian midcourter Gabi Simpson made her international debut in the Diamonds 50-44 victory over the New Zealand Silver Ferns at Horncastle Arena, Christchurch, on Tuesday.
Simpson became Australia's 164th international representative when she was introduced into the game midway through the second quarter in the opening Test of the four-Test Constellation Cup series.
With a 1-0 series lead, the Diamonds travel to Auckland on Wednesday ahead of the second Test at Vector Arena on Thursday at 5.30pm (AEDT).
