Jennie Finch and her Olympic and professional softball teammates for two full days of personal instruction covering all aspects of softball.
The Jennie Finch Softball Camp will be held at the home of the Bandits, The Ballpark at Rosemont, located at 27 Jennie Finch Way on Saturday, August 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, August 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"We are so excited to bring the Jennie Finch Softball Camp to Rosemont," said Jennie Finch. "I have wanted to do this for a long time, to be able to partner with the Chicago Bandits and share the life lessons and skills we (our great team of staff) have learned on and off the field with you, the future of our game. As always I can't wait to be back in Bandit Country working with future Bandits and NPF'ers!"
The 2-day camp will feature question and answer time for campers, coaches and parents, the Finch windmill demonstration, pitching demo by Jennie, hitting demo by professional coaches and drawings for prizes.
"We will cover all aspects of the game and share our knowledge and experience over the two day camp," said Finch. "You don't want to miss this weekend with The Jennie Finch Softball Camp and the opportunity to watch the world's greatest softball, Chicago Bandits vs. USSSA Pride. We hope to see you there!"
Each camper participating in the camp will receive two tickets to the Bandits game on August 17 when they host the USSSA Pride.
In addition, participants will also receive lunch both days, an official camp t-shirt, swag bag filled with goodies, autographed photo of Jennie, certificate of participation and a photo taken with Jennie and her medals.
The Jennie Finch Softball Camp is open to girls third grade and up. Participants are required to bring their own equipment needed to participate.
