CANADA’S most decorated Olympian Penny Oleksiak heads up the Canada national swim team squad currently training at the BEST Centre in Colonia Sant Jordi, Mallorca. 7-time Olympic medallist Oleksiak is part of a 40 strong squad of swimmers who have travelled across the Atlantic to train at one of Europe’s top swim destinations as they prepare for meets on the mainland of Europe and then the World Championships in Japan in July.
Many of the German national swim team are also training at the BEST Centre while the Canada open water swim team will be arriving soon to prepare for the BEST FEST open water festival that takes place each May in the waters around Colonia Sant Jordi. The event will see over 300 people from all over the world competing including teams from USA and Brazil.
Oleksiak’s presence at the BEST Centre will bring to over 100 the number of Olympic champions who have trained at the BEST Centre.
