Rabobank are already existing sponsors of the Dutch hockey team and Dutch Hockey Federation, and the agreement to become the ‘official bank’ of the Championships further develops their long-standing relationship with international hockey.

The Dutch women’s team are the current holders of the EuroHockey Nations Championships crown, which they won in Dublin back in 2005, beating hosts Ireland in the final by a convincing four-nil margin. The Dutch women are one of the only two teams to ever win the Championships since its conception in 1984 and will be hoping to add to their tally of victories at next months event. In their way will be England, the only other team to have tasted glory, having captured the crown back in 1991
