England Women beat New Zealand Women by eight wickets
England Women won the first ODI of their tour of New Zealand by eight wickets. There were fifties for Tammy Beaumont (71) - awarded Player of the Match - and captain Heather Knight (67*).
The wickets were shared around, with seven bowlers each claiming a scalp, but it was Tash Farrant - making her first ODI appearance in just over seven years - who returned the best figures, with 2-31.
The second ODI will be played in Dunedin on Friday, 11am (10pm GMT, Thursday).
