IWFL WELCOMES DESERT FIRE CATS

Round Rock TX -The Independent Women's Football League is proud to announce that Brandon Williams, representing the Desert Fire Cats, has been awarded a full delegate membership license.

IWFL WELCOMES DESERT FIRE CATS

The Fire Cats will join the league’s growing roster of teams in the Western Conference for the 2011 season and will play an exciting schedule against teams like the Modesto Maniax, Tucson Monsoon, California Quake and Southern California Breakers.

The team is owned by local Palm Springs residents Sedrick Reagor and Brandon Williams. Both men have experience in men’s semi pro football and strong backgrounds in business. As long time residents of Palm Springs the duo believe women’s football will add another fun attraction to their home town that both locals and visitors can enjoy.

“This new team is off to a great start. Brandon and Sedrick have taken their time to do things right and are in women’s football for the right reasons. They are developing this team to serve the women in their community that want to play football and to create something positive that everyone can enjoy,” said IWFL Chief Operating Officer Kezia Disney.   The Desert Fire Cats Women’s Football Organization was created to give female athletes an opportunity to develop and enhance their athleticism, strength, and awareness in this full contact, hard hitting sport. Players are given a chance to compete successfully on regional and national levels.
