Sobhy Leads Gaynor Cup Entry List On Home Soil

World No.7 Amanda Sobhy will be the top seed at the Gaynor Cup when the PSA World Tour Bronze event takes place in Cincinnati between February 20-24.

The tournament, which is now into its fourth edition, has grown year on year and this season is a PSA Bronze tournament, with a prize fund of $51,000 available.

Along with US No.1 Amanda Sobhy, reigning Gaynor Cup champion Hania El Hammamy, who defeated England’s Victoria Lust in last year’s final, is also in the field and she will be the No.3 seed for this year’s event.

England No.1 Sarah-Jane Perry is the No.2 seed for the tournament, with the likes of the Belgian sisters Nele and Tinne Gilis, and the Egyptian pair of Rowan Elaraby and Salma Hany also inside the top eight seeds.

Alongside Sobhy, Olivia Blatchford Clyne will also be featuring on home soil, with the top two Americans looking to please the home crowd in Cincinnati. Blatchford Clyne will be the No.5 seed for the event.
