Sugar Coated sugar wax

TOES

“Having hair on toes is actually very common! Hairs might be difficult to see at first, but they can become more visible as they grow. It is very important to apply talc to the area before waxing. This will remove any moisture from the toes, as well as freeing the hairs making them easier to remove from the root. Use a small spatula for thin and precise application of the sugar wax. and cut the strips smaller in size to ensure maximum precision. Curl the toe backward to keep the skin taut, and apply the sugar wax in the direction of the hair growth and remove the strip in the opposite direction.”

CHIN

“Chin hairs can vary in length and thickness, making them quite tricky to wax. Make sure you are looking closely in a mirror when tackling this area, to determine the hair growth and to also make sure you’re not missing anywhere. Cleanse the area so there is no moisturiser or oil on the skin. Apply the sugar wax with a small spatula and cut strips into small pieces for precision. You can keep the skin taut by opening your mouth and stretching your lower lip over your teeth.”

AREOLA

“Waxing this area takes a lot more care and sensitivity. Apply the product thinly on the outer edge of your nipple area where hairs are. Remove the strip in a quick flick motion in the opposite direction of hair growth – but do not stretch the area when removing the strips as this can cause discomfort.”

STOMACH/AROUND BELLY BUTTON

“Before starting, determine the hair growth as belly hair tends to grow in different directions. Dry the area with talc to free the hairs, and apply the product in small patches. Apply the strip in the direction of the hair growth, and be sure to remove in the opposite direction, in a parallel motion. This will help to avoid any discomfort and pain.”

UPPER LIP

“It is very important to cleanse this area thoroughly from any skincare products and oils, as well as applying talc powder to the area before and during the waxing. This will free the hairs from the skin making them easier to pull out and will remove any sweat that might come through from the pressure of waxing. Cut the strips into smaller sizes and use a small applicator to apply the sugar wax thinly in small sections. Starting from the lip edge first apply the wax in the direction of hair growth (which might be different for each section) and hold the skin taut as you remove the strip in the opposite direction. Put your tongue underneath your lip to see the hairs better and remove the hairs effectively with minimal discomfort.”

FINGERS

“Hairs on fingers can  be removed relatively easily. Fold your fingers inwards towards your palm to have easy access to hairs. To get the most out of the wax cut the strips into small sections, if you wax with a big strip you will lose the momentum, meaning you’ll leave behind more hairs. Be quick and flick the strips off in the opposite direction of hair growth.
