At a meeting of the IMTTO –- the International Mountain Bike Teams, Technical Support Companies and Organisers - in Champery, Switzerland, on Thursday 7 June 2007, the 2006 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup at Fort William was awarded the mountain bike event of the year for the second year running.

The richest event ever on the elite triathlon circuit is on tap for this Sunday (June 17) in Des Moines, Iowa, as the ITU World Cup makes its only stop in the U.S. in 2007.

Lysenko voted European Female Athlete of the Month for May

Russia's world record breaking hammer star, Tatyana Lysenko, has been voted the European Female Athlete of the Month for May. Lysenko, the defending European hammer champion, is completely dominating her event on a world level, improving her own World record with a throw of 78.61m in Sochi on May 26.

Norwich Union GB & NI Team for European Cup Combined Events
