Ipswich Ladies Firsts went out at the semi final stage of the England Hockey Knockout Competitions Women's Cup 2006/07 , Saturday 31st March at Reading hockey club to premiership rivals Bowdon in a game where they came back from 1 nil down but which ended in a draw and was decided on the golden goal. In Sunday’s final, Bowdon Hightown , last year’s winners , were crowned champions beating Slough.
