Women sport news - 2009 Women’s 17 European Championship
The 2009 Women’s 17 European Championship will take place in Serbia from 25 June to 5 July 2009. The final tournament will be played in Nis and Vrnjacka Banja. The preliminary round will be played on 25 - 28 July, followed by the main/intermediate round on 30 June - 1 July, cross matches / semi-finals / placement matches on 3 - 4 July.

The goalkeepers were the dominating in the first leg between Viborg HK and Győr. Englands Handball Squad attend camp before The European Championships
