After mistakenly celebrating her second-place finish in the women's road race thinking she had won gold, Annemiek van Vleuten (NED) does have her Olympic title now!
The Dutchwoman blitzed the 22.1km course around Mount Fuji to win in 30:13.49, with Switzerland's Marlen Reusser winning silver and fellow Dutch cyclist Anna van der Breggen winning bronze.
