For the majority of Australian athletes, the domestic season will form an integral part of their preparations for Beijing, culminating in the all-important selection trials in Brisbane at the end of February.
A plethora of Female Australian stars are expected to be in action including reigning world champions Jana Rawlinson and Sally McLellan.
Competing in the Australian domestic season earlier this year proved a winning formula for American Michelle Perry (110m Hurdles). Once again, a number of international stars will visit our shores in 2008 – names of which will be announced in due course.
