Amanda Reid of Australia has taken gold in the women's C1-3 500m time trial, finishing in world record pace (35.581). Reid shaved almost three second off her own world record.
And it wasn't the only world record broken in the event. PR China's QIAN Wangwei broke the C1 record for the event with her time of 38.070.
